There are times where the camera on your Chromebook will not work. You can troubleshoot the issue to see if it is software related. 



Testing Camera Applicaton

1. Open the camera application by clicking the application icon which is located on the button left corner of the screen. 


2. In the search bar, type "Camera" and open the camera application.

3. Open Camera . Then, on the right side, choose an option:

  • Select Photo and then Take photo .
  • Select Video and then Start recording .
  • Select Square and then Take photo .


If the Camera Application Does Work

If it does that means you just have to allow the camera in google meets.


Click on the camera icon  in the address bar and select the Always allow option.
